Sign in with a password or single sign-on, change a temporary password and understand session rules.
Everyone signs in on the same page, whether they run the platform or one team's accounts.
Sign in with email and password

The MCM sign-in page.
- Open your MCM installation URL.
- Enter your Email and Password, then sign in.
- Use Forgot password if you need a reset link.
First sign-in with a temporary password
New users receive a temporary password by email. On first sign-in MCM asks you to set your own:
- Enter a New Password and a Confirm Password. They must match, and the new password must differ from the temporary one.
- Submit, then sign in again with your new password.
Tip: Use at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols.
Locked accounts
After several failed attempts the account is temporarily locked. Wait a little and try again, or use Forgot password.
Forgot password
Enter your email on the Forgot password page. MCM confirms "Reset password link sent" and shows a Check your email page. Follow the link in the email to choose a new password.
Single sign-on
If your administrator has set up single sign-on, the sign-in page also offers:
- Sign in with Microsoft for Microsoft Entra ID.
- Sign in with single sign-on for another identity provider. Enter your Work email and choose Continue. MCM picks the right connection from your email domain, then choose Continue to sign in at your provider. Sign in with password instead takes you back.
If your email domain is set to single sign-on only, password sign-in is blocked for that domain. Platform owners keep a password sign-in as a safeguard so they can never be locked out.
Administrators configure connections in User Management → Single Sign-On.
Where you land
After sign-in you go to Getting Started until every step you are able to act on is completed or skipped, and to Home after that. Single sign-on users always land on Getting Started first.
Sessions and inactivity
- Concurrent sessions. By default you can be signed in on up to 5 devices or browsers. At the limit, MCM shows Session limit reached and offers End oldest session & continue or Cancel.
- Inactivity. By default you are signed out after 30 minutes without activity, and the sign-in page tells you so. Both values can be changed by your administrator.
